Roy’s Light Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

Ingredients

· 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

· 1/3 cup frozen banana chunks

· 1/3 cup canned pure pumpkin

· 1 Tbsp brown sugar replacement

· 2 Tbsp (about 12g) vanilla protein powder

· 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

· 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

· 2-3 ice cubes

 

Directions

1. In a blender, add all of the ingredients and blend on high/smoothie setting. If it’s too thick, add more milk and blend again. Enjoy immediately!

 

Notes

· Not a pumpkin fan or in the mood for something else? Swap the pumpkin for more banana and the spice for 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Swap frozen pineapple for the banana, banana for the pumpkin, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and coconut extract for the vanilla! Or maybe (and I haven’t done this yet) try unsweetened applesauce in place of pumpkin, cinnamon in place of pumpkin pie spice, and aa tablespoon of sugar-free caramel sauce? Experiment with flavors you enjoy!
