Ingredients
· 14.5 oz can pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie mix!!!)
· 2 Tbsp sugar replacement
· 2 Tbsp brown sugar replacement
· 2 Tbsp sugar-free maple syrup (I use Vermont brand)
· 1/4 cup of water
· 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
· 1/2 apple, peeled and grated
Preparation
1) Add all the ingredients to a large saucepan, cook over low heat, partially covered, for 25 minutes.
2) Allow it to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container in the fridge. This will thicken as it cools so don’t panic if it's too runny while it’s hot.
