12 servings 1 Better Balance Bite/Blue Point

Calories 38 Fat 3.1g Sat. Fat 0.4g Protein 0.7g Carbs 2.5g Fiber 0.1g Sugars 0.7g

Ingredients

· 2/3 cup light mayonnaise, room temperature

· 1/3 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt, room temperature

· 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (see notes)

· 1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard (see notes)

· 1 Tbsp brown sugar replacement (see notes)

· 2 tsp prepared horseradish

· 1/2 tsp garlic powder

· 1/2 tsp onion powder

· 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

· 1/4 tsp cayenne, optional

· Water, about 1/4 cup, to thin the sauce

Directions

1. Whisk together the mayonnaise and yogurt. Once well combined, carefully whisk in the vinegar. Once the vinegar is incorporated, whisk in the remaining ingredients, except for the water.

2. Using about 1/4 cup of water, thin the sauce to a thick pourable consistently. You may need more or less to get your desired consistency.

3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

· Each serving is about 2 Tbsp, depending on how much water was added.

· You could use other vinegars, but I suggest you avoid heavily flavored or infused vinegars.

· You could use Dijon mustard in place of spicy brown. You could possibly use plain yellow mustard, but I never have.

· You could use real brown sugar without affecting the bites/points for a single serving.

· This bbq sauce can be used in MANY ways! Here are just a few options (I’m sure you can come up with more!)

o Grilled/smoked chicken

o Pulled pork

o Hamburgers

o Fish

o Sandwich dressing

o Grilled veggies

o Cole slaw

o Corn on the cob

o Dipping sauce
